Trifecta of Meat

It was decided in July of 1776 that The United States would become an independent nation. Judging from the noise outside, the appropriate method to celebrate such an event is to blow stuff up well into the night. Hooray for America. Nevertheless, I propose that the appropriate way to celebrate the birth of a nation is to slowly cook different types of meats at low temperatures over smoky wood fires. Let's be honest, not only did my dinner guests approve, but I'm pretty sure America appreciates the gesture. If not, I can be consoled by a large plate of meats slathered in BBQ sauce.
